I was looking at my garb and realized that the only socks that I have are striped ones from vendors that are not actually period, but more renfaire.  I thought it would be a good idea to build a pattern and create my own linen stockings and eventually make some warmer ones this winter once I have the pattern figured out.

I haven't had a chance to complete this yet because I have had ongoing medical issues, but it is a work in progress and I am excited to see how they turn out.  I have some more red linen for them that I plan on using.  I am going to use shrink wrap and duct tape my legs and create a fitted pattern for them.  I'm excited to see how these turn out!  I will be updating this page as I work on them.
